Celebrate Summer Rules
Celebrate Summer is a blogging event designed to introduce your blog and its sponsors to new visitors, in turn leading to new readers, new followers, and new friends.
This is a FREE event intended to be helpful to blogs of all sizes. However you will be expected to perform the basic tasks of acquiring sponsors, registering your blog with us and following the rules of this bloghop. The organizers will do our best to help as needed, but if you cannot or will not do these things, we may request that you withdraw from the current event and enter when you are better able to do so.
BLOG REQUIREMENTS:
1. Each Blog will prepare a giveaway package with 1 or more individual prizes with a total minimum retail value of $25.
2. Each Blog will choose a Theme for their Giveaway and build their giveaway around that theme.
Your theme (and giveaway value amount) will be listed in the main giveaway linky so that entrants will know where to enter first.
3. On the days of the giveaway, blogs will need to keep their Giveaway Bloghop post at the top of their page with the information displayed prominently so that it is easy to find.
4. Blogs will make their contest requirements fast and easy to identify. You may be asked to restructure your requirements if they are difficult to understand or too involved.
5. Capcha (word verification) will be turned off for the Giveaway Bloghop post.
6. Blogs will display the button for this bloghop in a prominent place on their blog’s sidebar beginning March 1st and continuing through the end of June or as long as they are participating in this bloghop.
7. All blogs should actively promote their blog’s Giveaway and the Event.
8. All blogs which are accepted will receive an invite to a Google group. This group is for event blogs only and will be used to keep everyone informed and up-to-date.
9. Blogs should schedule be prepared to host this giveaway June 1-7 to give everyone ample opportunity to enter all participating blogs.
10. All Blogs, regardless of country or time zone, shall start their giveaways at 12:01 a.m. CST - Central Standard Time on June 1, and accept no entries after 11:59 p.m. on June 7. Any blog that has not posted their giveaway or contacted me by 12:30 a.m. will be removed from the linky list.
12. No adult themed blogs (or blogs with adult images on their home page) will be accepted into this bloghop. If you choose to offer adult themed giveaways (with sponsors such as Eden’s Fantasy) these giveaways will be noted in the linky as such. The definition of “adult-themed” will be up to the coordinator’s discretion.
13. All giveaway winners shall be drawn and notified no later than 48 hours after the close of the bloghop, or 11:59 p.m. on June 9.
WARNING: Non-compliance with these requirements, or failure to post your giveaway in the specified time frame, will result in your blog being removed from our list, and you will not be allowed to resubmit your blog for future events. There are many blogs who would like to participate, so please participate responsibly.
